HERO KIDS was on hand to rescue a fledgling (young bird that's recently left the nest) blue tit, we found it standing on the ground in a busy pedestrian street in town, unable to fly away. It hopped onto our hand and we carried it home, and let it rest on our little tree in our back terrace before it flew off in the nearby gardens. Mission accomplished!
We've called it Jung, as we found it outside a restaurant called Jung's. One day, he might be back as a HERO KID Sidekick, he would be a great scout!
